Many thanks to Thunder Arrow Kennels for offering us this awesome girl. Konnie is not only a beautiful dog with great over all structure, but she is also over-the-top intelligent and full of drive. Konnie is one of those dogs that if you say "JUMP," she asks "how high!" She will do anything asked of her and will give it her all. She has tons of nerve and doesn't meet strangers; but does fire up quickly and works hard. She retains even when not worked in a long time. In 2009 she took first place in the protection tournament at the NKC Nationals passing through each scenario (including a full on spray from a water hose and a wall of cardboard boxes nailing her in the head) with power and ease. She had not worked in months before this competition. She was cool as can be with everything going on around her. During bitework she not only stays focused but she is also very calm and steady. She doesn't "loose her mind" like some dogs will do; she wants and goes after the bite, full and hard, but after the out, she is right back to the heel position, sitting and calmly waiting for what's next. We love that about her. She has tons of drive but she can control herself. We will be using Konnie in our breeding program within the next few years as her bloodlines will compliment what we are already working with and her temperament, structure, and working abilities are just what we are looking to produce. Konnie is pretty much our ideal for an American Bulldog and we feel she is going to be the cornerstone of our program. Konnie's pedigree includes all three Kombat breedings (Bossman X Kombat, General Lee X Kombat, and Vader Red X Kombat).
